Intentional nourishment
for an evolving you.

There is no shortage of advice about what you should be eating.

Eat more of this. Less of that. Track this. Cut out that. Take this supplement. Follow this plan.

But knowing what actually makes sense for you, your body, your health, and your life? That's where things get a little more complicated.

At In The Making Nutrition, we start with you.

Your health history, your goals. Your relationship with food. Your routines. Your labs and your symptoms. The things you've already tried. The things you genuinely enjoy eating. And, just as importantly, the kind of life you want to be living outside of thinking about your health.

Our Approach

Our Approach ⸻

We start where you are, then build from there.

We take a rooted approach, not a one-size-fits-all plan, a list of rules to follow, or another set of expectations that feels impossible to keep up with.

We begin by reflecting together, building a clear, honest picture of where you are right now: current habits, needs, relationship with food. Then we observe: hunger and fullness, energy and mood, the symptoms and patterns your body's been trying to tell you about, maybe for years.

Understanding those signals lets us optimize, building nourishing choices around individual goals, not someone else's idea of what "healthy" should look like. From there, the real work begins: staying with you as changes take root, so they thrive and become part of everyday life, not just something to keep up on your best days.

Lasting change doesn't come from trying to do everything differently overnight. It starts with understanding yourself, making thoughtful adjustments, and building habits that feel good and work for your life.

MEET YOUR DIETITIAN

Hi, I’m Madelyn!

I’m so happy you’re here! My path into this work started years ago, back when my own experiences with weight, fitness, and food first sparked a curiosity about how nutrition shapes the way we feel, move, and live. That curiosity became a career, and eventually, something even more personal: navigating hormone dysregulation, PCOS, and Hashimoto's hypothyroidism taught me firsthand how long it can take to understand your own body, and how individual that process really is.

That's the approach I bring to every client relationship: curiosity over judgment, compassion over rigid rules, and plenty of room for real life. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's from Miami University and I've spent years working alongside clients using a functional nutrition approach, but what guides the work is simpler than any credential. It's the belief that your health deserves to be understood at the root, not managed from the outside in.
